Anyone knows where can we get Remo Pinstripe skins? Seems like no one is carrying it anymore? And where is that forum with all the home kits. I saw this guy having ebony pinstripe skins. If you read this to reply to me at Soundmixpro@gmail.com.

Thanks a bunch

U can get it at swee lee...theres a rack...not in sight upon entree but it does sell those black heads...the ebony ones ...

hey darren/sanjay,

its shaun from ashmore here. anyway yeah, swee lee carries them, i have a set with ebony pinstripes but they cost more than the regular pinstripes. not sure how they sound on recording but for what its worth i think the coated evans heads u guys currently have sound fine.

cheers.

SoundMixPro: You mean this: http://www.soft.com.sg/userstuff/denosha_drums.jpg ? Anyway, the thread u're looking for is in the "People - Drum" forum.

Both the Swee Lees tend to have a different set of stock for drum skins. It seems their inventory sync is kinda off. Anyway, I usually find it quite difficult to get all the sizes I want at one short so it might take some time to "collect" the ones u need. I've tried the Remo coated Ambassador, Pinstripe and Controlled Sound but I still prefer the Ebony Pinstripes for their darker tones.

Hmm...

I've read that 1 of the best combi is Evans Coated G2 over Evans Clear G1s....jux for your info... :)

Remo

Thanks guys for replying. But ass SweeLee said it takes about 4 months to ship in...like they using sampan or what....

I am getting it for a friend who is in need urgent. My preference is Evans coated G2. But different studios have diff needs, so is his call.
