regarding cleaning unfinished guitar neck

how do you clean an unfinished neck?

hey nigel im the zw les paul fren here regarding the unfinished neck just clean it normally will do, but if it happens to have stains thats a diffrent thing.

im thorough i do have sweaty palms and im afraid the grime will collect on the neck as well.

eh .. interesting, i think the more important how to maintain the neck. i use Howard's Feed N Wax, and apply to it like once a mth to prevent the neck from drying up and cracking.

well if you are refering to maple, I am sure some lighter fluid can help. for rosewood you can always use fine grade steel wool and lemon oil to dig out all that dirt.
