Uh.. sorry if I post this in the wrong place...
First off, I want to record my guitar using toneport UX2 together with the song/music I'm playing along with, since I don't want to have to edit both tracks together and spend forever syncing. So, I had my guitar plugged into line 1 instead of instrument on the UX2 and my ipod into line 2. I had line 1 and 2 selected in gearbox but somehow one line can never be picked up and neither can I hear it, why is this? Like I can hear line 1, but not 2, or vice versa. Or maybe I'm doing it wrong to begin with? Is there another way to have music and guitar recorded together?
I used to try it using garageband/imovie before on my mac and it seemed to work but I've switched to windows now and it doesn't anymore. Also, when I record with my macbook, after awhile, the sound breaks up and becomes nothing but static and lots of noise.
I suspect there's something wrong with my sound card on the mac, but apparently mac technicians says otherwise.
Does anyone have any insight on this problem? Thanks!
