where do you guys go to do a recording or record a demo cd???
my band has around seven songs but we wish to record only four of it cos the rest wont make it... and we do not have the equiptment do do our own recording...
So any ideas

it depends on how fast ur band can finish up the songs :) but my advice is, do not rush.

u may end up dis-satisfied with the result.

sorry to intrude, but i'd also like to ask something about demos.

For eg you record a 1 song demo. Then you need to have like maybe 20 to 30 copies to give out to people, how do you "print" so many of them? How much would it cost?

Cheap way = Burn and distribute

Expensive way = Go find a CD replication company to help you do, i think they incl cd cover design printing as well.

rengaw : yes , use Nero CD burner, and "duplicate" cds. now CDs are cheap, 100cd-r for like $30+

recklessnick : erm, kindly amend your post. james (soft) won't be happy about someone promoting piracy. there're free softwares out there that perform just as well, like Audacity
