Bass->Amp->Computer (Via Cable, Pluged In At Mic Port)
Or
Bass->Multi Effect Pedal->Com

So.. Which? :)

Is A Sound Carded Needed? Which Would U Recommend?
Where To Get Adaptors To Make A 1/4 Cable Pluggable To A PC THANKS!

get a line 6 ux1/ux2 , presonus or zoom h4n.
With that you can connect

Bass > ux1/ux2 > computer
or
Bass > Amp > Microphone > ux1/ux2 > computer

i think the first option would be good enough .

Anything Cheaper..? >.< Whats A Decent Multi Effect (Best Quality For Amount Paid) Student, So Cant Afford Much, Thanks!

Cheaper than what? A UX1 interface suggested by Aunt.mall costs $100+ second hand. A lot of the Zoom, DigiTech and Boss multieffects have USB output.

Bass --->cable---> Line 6 ux1 --->usb---> computer?

What if I want to do a cover of a song? How to record the song I want to play with the bass that I play together and record it? I'm not good with technical stuffs. Can explain to me? I wanna learn.

And also, if I want to do a cover of a song with my brother playing guitar and me playing bass, how to do it without recording separately? Is it possible?

Hate:
You need a DAW on your computer . (garageband , cubase , logic , audacity ) the basic DAWs pretty much have the same concept . Just watch some tutorials on how to use it on youtube or something . Just drag the audio/background music file into the workspace , and start a new audio recording track and start playing . Export the file to whatever format you want .

if you want to record two things together at once by plugin/miced .. then the UX1 is not enough .. you prolly need presonus firebox or any audio interface that has 2 or more inputs .

Thanks! I have audacity. If I want to record a video of my cover, will I have to combined the two and try to synchronise it? It sounds soo hard to do it
