record guitar amp

Hi guys,

i am currently recording my guitar amp in a pretty small room as such when i am strumming hard on the guitar , not just sound from the amp gets captured but the sound of my guitar as well, any idea to solve this problem ? would just want to capture the amp from the sound and not frm the guitar strings . Thanks !

amptones : isolation is key. it means that your mic is telling you there's only room for one. and it's the amp, not you. hahah.

put your desktop/laptop/audio interface outside, the amp and mic in the room only. and record away. monitor from behind the door.
