Hi there,
I wanna to get a mutli fx for my electric for jamming.. was thinking of

1. the KORG AX5G

or

2. ZOOM G2.1u

Can anyone here give me some advice..?

Thx :)

ive an korg ax10g for sale, 50 bucks only!

was cleaning my room and found this ancient relic from the beginning of my guitardom days~!

If comparing just the two choices, personally I think Zoom is better. But if u are welling to come out with much more money, get a T.C electronic Nova system, You won't regard it and you can use it for a long long time. very good investment... :)

If you don't mind 2nd hand stuff can try the buy/sell here. Can get the bigger brothers of those 2 or other brands for that sum of money.

Boss me-50 is too exp.. haha

how abt comparing

Zoom G2.1u

and

KORG AX 3000g

AND

BOSS ME-25

anyone got any advices?

AX3000G amp simulator sounds thin and too digital but has some good modulations. I used to own the Zoom G2 as well, better amp sim but hard to navigate, the Zoom equivalent of of AX3000G should be much better to play around with. Or you can try Behringer's V-amp. Don't be put off by the name, They do make some good stuff. The new v-amp 3 looked slick, soundwise I'd say good enough, but limited on the modulation stuff. Its more to amp sim.

Digital is still digital, but what I meant by too digital is that its sounds too sterile, hollow in my own term. Though nowadays amp sims are getting better, if you are not too anal about sound they can pass off as the real thing quite well. Modulations are your effects like delays, reverbs, flangers, chorus etc.The AX3000G as I said are not that bad. Some people even used the AX3000G for the modulations and bypass the amp sim totally.

i got my AX3000g for around 250. You should wait for a sale :).

Good things comes to those who SIT AND WAIT :D

I find its really awesome loh, I find Boss products even MORE digital :/
