Hello my fellows,
I have a question regarding my pedalboard, which is a little hard to explain, but I'm going to
try and do it as clearly as possible.
My rig so far consists of:
Guitar > Korg Pitchblack Tuner > Boss NS2 > Ibanez TS7 > Mesa Boogie Throttle Box >
Catalinbread CB30 > Boss BF3 > Boss CE5 > Boss PH2 > Boss TR2 > Belcat Analog Delay >
Boss DD6 > Line 6 Verbzilla > Amplifier
***Depending on the amp, I sometimes run my effects through the effects loop and my distortions/
overdrives into the main input.
I quite enjoy using some of my effects simultaneously, such as my TS7 and CE5, or my
Throttle Box, BF3 and Analog Delay together, but I find it difficult to tap them all off quickly
at one go before launching into another part of a song or getting ready to sing (I play and sing).
My question is, are they any sort of...I don't know what they're called, loopers or effects consolidators
or combinators that you can chain your effects to and click 2 or 3 effects on or off simultaneously via a switch, without having to step on all the individual pedals?
I know of the Carl Martin Octa Switch, but since I have about 12 pedals (including the tuner and noise gate), \
they won't all fit on the Octa Switch's 8 inputs, and I want to have use of all my pedals, and not be forced to single out only 8 of them.
I just want to know if there are any devices out there that I can buy or use to chain some of my favourite effects
together WITHOUT losing the functionality of using each of them individually. For example, I still want to be able
to use each of my 10 effects individually, but want the additional choice of also having a "switch" or "pedal" that
can allow me to chain, say my "flanger+delay+distortion" or my "delay+phaser" together so that I can use these few effects simultaneously at the press of a single switch.
My main concern with the Octa Switch is that it takes away the option of using your pedals individually, by chaining
them all to a combinator and being forced to choose 8 different presets, as opposed to having full use of all the pedals ON TOP OF also being able to easily use a couple of them simultaneously via a single switch (or a few switches), since i have about 3-4 favourite combinations of effects.
Hope that was clear enough, and hope you guys can help.
Thank you loads for reading this!
