Recommendation of a good and durable power adapter

Hello everyone, I am looking for a good, noiseless and durable power adapter.
Where do I go to and purchase such adapter in Singapore ?

I also have read about Visual Sound 1 Spot adapter.
Has anyone used it ? How is it ?

if price isn't your concern, go for pedalboard powersupplies which offer isolated outputs so that theres no noise from ground loop. Durability is better because they are well built, sturdy and easy to place in a pedalboard context. Examples being Voodoolabs PP2+ and Cioks DC10. You can find the former at ebenex for about $250, the latter at TYMC. I got my Cioks AC Rider from TYMC at $180.

the VS 1 spot is supposedly better than the common one spots, ebenex is selling it at $50-60 iirc, it works well for many. consider your pedalboard requirements before deciding on a 1 spot vs a pedalboard PS

I don't wanna lug a pedalboard around and prefer something small and portable like a 1 spot instead of a pedalboard power supply.

Is Visual Sound the only reliable brand for 1 spot ?

The other one would be the Godlyke power adapter, but most people seem to favour the One-Spot more.

Btw, I think the $50-ish tag is for the full One-Spot kit, the adaptor by itself just costs $30.

Well, you can also look at the MXR Power Brick. Its not as costly as Voodoo Labs, Cioks and all those
"isolated power supply" brands, but gets the job done, and I personally have experienced no noise/hissing/problems with the power brick, as purported to be by many others. its very small, slim and sleek, and can be easily stored away.

I think it goes for 150 at Music Theme.

You mean the DC Brick? I think Swee Lee is the one who carries that. What pedals are you planning to power?

Swee Lee stopped selling the Dunlop DC brick already. The black colored one. They only carry Voodoo Labs pedal power these days. Music Theme at excelsior carries the MXR power brick, which is similar to the Dunlop DC Brick. I think cos of some merger/acquisition thing, Dunlop and MXR now are one and the same company. But yeah, only difference is Dunlop DC Brick has 7 9V outputs and 3 18V outputs, whereas MXR power brick (silver colored) has 8 9V outputs and 2 18V outputs.

BTW, the MXR power brick is super portable, its light and slim and doesnt weigh much. For the sake of consistency and not damaging your pedals, i suggest a pedal power supply (of course, if you can afford it, get an isolated one like a cioks or voodoo labs). One Spot adapters are good if you're chaining pedals that you dont use very often, like maybe a tuner or some effects like phaser/tremolo/delay, that you only use very intermittently for certain parts of a song. But if you're intending to use a pedal consistently throughout a song/performance/jam session, i suggest you look at a power supply.

One spots and the likes can have very nasty results on your sound/volume levels.
