Recommendation for Studio recording

Hi all, I'm not too sure if I put this in the right section of the forum

Anyway, I am currently looking for a studio to do recording.
Let me explain a bit our project:
Basically we'd just done our so called drama-musical production, and would like to record our songs into CD and possibly sell it to public, mostly our friends.
We have 8 songs yet to be recorded.
6 of them are in band setting (+vocals)
1 is pure instrumental(band)
1 other is piano+vocal

Btw, the band consist of 1 drumset, 2 keyboards, 1 bass, 2 guitars (+vocals)

I understand that most of you provide a professional studio recording service and, on the contrary, I was given a very limited budget, but I'd like to do overdub/semi multitrack - semi multitrack is my own term, so i'll try to put a few instruments on a single track, and deal more with more problematic ones (so as to cut fees)
This is because based on last recording session, I don't think live recording can be done.
Every single take there would be mistakes here and there.
Anyone can help us?

Another problem is that all of us are students, so weekdays are impossible and we got to get it done asap.

anyone have any suggestions for me?

For (home) studio recording owners: Is it possible to give me a rough quotation?

You can pm me

Hi..
Those who have home studio recording and willing to help also welcomed.
Just let me know and we'll talk how to go about it?

Thanks

Bro, I'm doing my EP and studio time is $$$. Studio time begins from as low as $30 an hour for low end to over $100 an hour for the big name studios. Mixing and Mastering is also a separate charge, but some studios have special packages for X number of songs at a fixed rate. Do a search and you'll see. CD replication will be less than $2 per piece with a minimum run of 500pcs at most places in Singapore. If you go duplication (CDRs), they're about the same price but u can do 1 - xxx pieces.

All the best and blessings to your project! :)

Home.

Bud,

Why don't you track everything at home? Vox or any other acoustic instruments and drums in studio? Seem to be the way to go these days.

Let me know if I could be of help.

R.

Hi all,

Thanks for the advices / offer and thanks for the blessings

to be honest, We are actually full time students non music major.
And currently having all sorts of test, assignments n projects.
I know we should be practicing more but we couldnt possibly neglect our studies as well rite?
That's why coupled with limited budget, my request initially sounded unreasonable..
Pardon me for not being able to reply quicker..

Btw, I've managed to find a recording studio and nego with the sound engineer..
In fact, We'd just done our recordings last weekends.

I wanted to do myself also, but sadly I dun have recording kits nor the skills..

Again thanks a lot.. soft ppl are v nice n helpful..
All the best for you'all too

Warmest regards
