Recommendation for a MIDI Keyboard Controller?

My first post here, hello to everyone.

I'm currently looking for a midi keyboard controller with 61 keys. Having a budget of $500 (and less), which keyboards can I consider?

Using it to compliment an amateur DJ setup, has to be both windows and mac friendly. Many thanks in advance.

I forgot to mention: I need as many knobs, buttons and switches as possible!!!!!!! (just kidding, I do hope to have as many controls as possible so I dun need to rely on my KB and mouse )

Novation doesn't have a 61 key model right?

I'm deciding between Roland, Korg and Maudio...
And is the korg kseries available in singapore? I called CM abt the k61 and they said it is an old model!??!?! Blur...

I think m-audio axiom series is good for you. There are faders, drumming pads as well as quite a number of knobs.

Ok this may seem like a dumb question but will I get cancer using the axiom? I heard it uses lead paint...

novation $200 PLUS... not $200 flat. lol. i think like $280 roundabout? wrong meh? depends on the model, the one i saw had a joystick and just a few buttons/ knobs.

Are you refering to the Nocturn? It is purely a controller w/o keys. I m looking for a keyboard/controller.

no, i mean NOVATION. keyboard controller. The guy at RESOLUTION (sunshine plaza, opposite nafa campus) quoted me $200+. He didn't check the book for exact price, but previously another fella also told me $250+/- when I was enquiring abt a setup.

m-audio oxygen 61 key $350... sorry bout that. so much easier in a shop w prices clearly labelled lol
