Hey guys!!

I'm looking for a good semi-acoustic. Like, what should i look out for in buying them? For me, i would look out for brand names but come to think of it, it doesn't really matter what brand names right, as long as it has good sound system and body? I owned an acoustic but its too small for me now, so the size isn't comfortable for me. My fingers would cramped up since the fret distance is too close. I'm also looking for a more flat body just like an electric guitar. Not so fat. I'm a girl u see and so i need that right size to play it comfortable. My budgets around $250 or lower.

And also another question i've been wanting to know, what type of wood is best for a guitar?

I hope you could help me out! Most preferred places would be brass basah, peninsula or even queensway.

Thank you! ^^

Best=subjective.
Many guitars have the spruce-mahog combination. Or cedar-mahog, and other woods like Nato etc. These are the more common woods.
You can get a semi-acoustic at Citymusic, their in house brand Custom Acoustic. It's bang for the buck plus it's a solid top.

But Van_halen is right. To get a good semi-acoustic you have to double or triple your budget, cause it opens up a lot more choices such as Walden, Crafter, Takamine etc.

EDIT: Am i mistaken? Are you looking for an electro-acoustic or a semi acoustic like a ES-175/ES-335?

hey thanks guys! yeah i figured that my budget is too low.. yeah i'm looking for semi acoustic not electro acoustic.. never heard of electro acoustic tho? hmm.. may i know where exactly is city music?

prinsep st there, nearest mrt station dhoby ghaut. it doesn't hurt to google, zhul. no offense here but general questions like 'where is citymusic?' are better off googling than waiting for someone to reply days or months later.

typing in 'city music singapore' into google search and the 1st result you get is your answer.
