Hi, I am looking for an easy to use, multi-functional electric guitar amp that allow me to experiment with different tones easily.

Any recommendations for a multi-function electric guitar amp that allow me to switch from clean to distortion, electric to acoustic, switch to funky tones by pressing only a few buttons?

The Roland Cube series & the Vox DA series should be your best bet.

With many amp models & effects channels to choose from , it should cover up whatever you need.

Depending on your budget, if your purpose of getting the multi-functional amp is to explore the various effects. You could explore another alternative; get a relatively good sounding amp, which most probably only provides you with a clean and overdrive channel. Then get a multi-effects pedal. At least you can bring the effects pedal to the studio when you jam ;)

If you mean multi-channel, a lot of amplifiers nowadays have several channels (some Marshalls have four channels). But most of these are heads, but come with a footswitch for you to change channels quickly.

Personally I just can't get into multi-effects, but its a useful asset to have either a multi-effects or a pedalboard so your guitar tone and options aren't limited if the jamming studio has only single channel amps.

I find the Line6 Spider Jam to be quite a value for money amp. It has the different tones, some signature ones and plus, you can record and jam with your fav tracks.....

Having said that, a lot of amps have that function nowadays... a few good ones to look at..

1) Roland Cube
2) Vox AD30VT
3) Randall RX30D

Good luck.

Haha, yes Eugene, I know you're pretty much the purist.
Well you could explore either option; multi-functional amp or multi-effect.
It's personal preference. Good luck with your find bro!
