Im trying to find a first hand Reverb for my bass.. the holy grail is just too much to save for and its hard to find anyone selling theirs.. So can anyone recommend me a good Reverb for bass?

Hmm.

In the first place, is it necessary for bass to use reverb? i personally find that in certain applications reverb can add "ambience", but unfortunately it could also reduce note definition, which is why certain amp manufacturers eschew built-in reverb... citing reverb as a lame way to cover up for poor tone.

this isn't a bass-specific reverb unit but it works well for those in need of some depth for your tone in general (it's <$90):

LOL, I agree on the use of reverb on bass.
Maybe he likes the sound to be extra boomy and un-defined?
After all low frequencies don't track well with reverb.

I guess software reverb might be better if you tweak the Low Cut Filter. Than you lose the lower frequencies but it will track better for the highs but then again defeats the purpose if you want a reverb for bass.
Which brings us back to square one.
