Hi.. I have a budget of up to $400. with the upcoming Ibanez sale... anyone have any models to recommend me?

is ur budget including of amps or not?? or solely for guitar??

anyway maybe u could juz shortlist all the guitar tats within ur budget and try them out...the word tats been repeated always is..Personal Preference..so yeah...

my budget solely for guitars only... i don't know how much ibanez models costs because i didn't go down to the shops to look at them.

i would like a guitar with reasonably low action. preferbly a guitar worth keeping and upgrading in the future.

just a reminder..$400 is the maximum i can afford.. thanks alot guys

Do u whammy alot? Prefer what kind of tone or style... or shape... number of frets?(24 or 22)...

If u need whammy can check out the SA series---> SA120, SA160 or SA260

If u like metal, need 24 frets---> try RG321 (mahogany wood, good for upgrading)

Hmmm... so what is ur preference?

i still quite new to electric so i don't really know how to whammy.

i play rock, indie, progressive (dream threatre?? really bad with this genre thingys). Not really into metal but do listen to a few pantera songs!
Oh yah..i also listen to quite alot of jrock. bands like Luna Sea, X japan, L'arc en ciel, Nightmare.

Basically a versatile guitar that can do different genres.

then the SA series will be good for you.

you can refer to SOFT's reviews here to help you decide, hope the included prices will help 8) :

btw.. the prices in the reviews are sweelee prices?

and if any1 still got other models to recommend pls keep it coming.

thanks!

definitely get a H-S-H or a S-S-H guitar if you want to play L'arc. You simply need something that sounds more strat to get Ken tones and solos.

the Body Art BC Rich models are above average (i own one), but they are fixed bridge models. our friend here, prefer a whammy option yes?

these Ibanez guitars will be <$500 this coming friday/ saturday sale, they are worth checking out (some are fixed bridge models, but they are good guitars nevertheless):
