hi, I am thinking of getting a tuner for my acoustic guitar...any recomendations?? I have did some search and it seems like mostly uses those flat type of battery, how long will the battery last??actually i kind of prefer those using AAA batteries as they are easily available.....actually my purpose is not really on tuning as i am still unable to hear the differences...its more for the stress on the strings....cos if i were to change the strings after some time,i might not know when to stop tuning the nuts...

HAHA! Well i know this 'tuner' which you can get it for free. Your ears!

Well, its really difficult at start but you have to learn how to use it. Who knows when your chromatic tuner might cock up last minute before a gig.

Well coming back to your question, i recommend a Seiko Tuner. Sweelee was selling it at 50% off. I think it costs around $29 and uses AAA battery. Im not sure if they are still selling it..
Cheers!!

I just use the Cherub Guitar Mate WST-550G
the good thing is that it is a LED guitar tuner,it tunes by the vibration of the string so ambient noise is not a problem, and also it is clip-on on
the bad thing is that it is a flat type battery
Hope this helps:mrgreen:
The pricing is abou 15-20 dollars
