recommend me a guitar($300)

can someone recommend me a good elec guitar costing about 300=350? preferbably a lp copy. tks

For tat price, maybe u can consider Yamaha ones. They are known for cheap and good quality guitars. But problem is I doubt they have LP models.... :?

yamaha does have the LP models. and by that i assume dual humbucking singlecut guitars. check out their AES420/620/720/920 series. unfortunately, none of them are below $700....

actually yamaha guitars are quite good

I don't really like the shapes of the guitars yamaha offers but they do churn out quality instruments so they're worth considering.

For a Les Paul copy, i'll go with Aria. Somehow i find Aria guitars reliable enough. I personally own one, and i like it so much i've had a number of heavy modifications done to it to improve playability.

bit of a sweeping and brash statement man_kidal. tone is subjective, don't write it off simply cos u dun like it.

hear ye hear ye!

Had my eye on the AES620 actually. superb workmanship and finish. some might not like the finished neck and radius but the feel was class A to me...also, the sustain is incredible...Grover heads, SD Jeffbeck pups in the bridge and yamaha alnico II on the neck. string thru body. the contoured body just suits me beautifully. unfortunately, don't have the faded burst color i wanted. so now waiting lor...hehe.
