i would suggest u increase ur budget alittle. maybe u can try those yamaha guitars at plaza singapura for about $180 ++

or a takamine for about 200 at davis

You probably won't get a great sounding guitar with a $180 budget. But I agree about going to Davis. At least the guitars look kinda nice

You can get a Takamine for $200? I love Takamine's. I have an EGS-430SC, and it sounds awesome.

Have you try Sinamex's timonthy? They are really good sounding. I've tried it side by side with their taylor and to my amazement, their timonthy beat their taylor of the same price. Sounds really good!

the cheapest i saw at sinamex was $400-$500.Way out of his budget.
