Alright hi guys,
im looking for a Solid Top Acoustic guitar preferably by Takamine.(D-series)
Anyone have any models to recommend.
i know davis sells them but haven got time to go down.
so fire away people!

There's a Takamine D51C on sale here on SOFT, looks pretty good but I can't say much as I haven't tried that model before. There's also:
- Cort Earth 70e (has pickup)
- Cort Earth 100 (no pickup)

I'm very sure the 100 has a solid-top, but I only think that the 70e has solid-top because that's what people say (it didn't have a 'solid-top' sticker on it like the 100 had), but Cort being a less well known brand, you can get a solid-top Cort at a cheaper price than say, a Takamine. The quality for the Cort Earths I found was pretty good, and the tone more than decent, so they definitely get my vote.

Mmm.yea i thought about the Cort Earth also.
Well will be deciding between these 2 brands then.

hey eugene i went to bras basah that day didnt find the cort 70e. or was it the 100? i know only one of them was available.

TS: check out maestro ED-2(549 w/o pickups 749 with pickups) or Craftster (i forgot model ask uncle at ranking for solid spruce mahogany side n backs. 540 after "discount" with pickups)

Mmm i have a budget 300? or should i get a 2nd hand.
thinking of sticking to one good acoustic for long good years.

Davis brings one Takamine D series solid top acoustic, D51SC, selling for $299 if im not wrong. U can try other brands like fina or J&D, both within ur budget.

yea i have a cheap fina one.it dosent stay in tune at all. kinda fustrating to retune it every now and then.
