I'm parting with my beloved Steinberger that has followed me all the way from the US! I'm going home soon and can't bring back all my gear.. This guitar, in this color, is extremely difficult to find in the US, let alone in Singapore!
So here's your chance to own a discontinued guitar from a legendary guitar maker... at a price that won't break the bank!

This the discontinued Spirit GU-7R model in the rare deep blue color. Great if you love the headless concept, but can't stand the ugly "paddle" designs in today's Spirits (or the ridiculous $xxxx+ price tags of the full-body versions). It has two minor dents on the front, and some small scratches, all only visible when close-up.
These headless guitars are extremely compact, but have a full-sized neck with 24 frets which means you can play just about any song out there. They are easy to tune with double-ball strings. If you're not a fan of them, I will include a custom adaptor worth $40USD that will let you use regular strings too. Personally, I put Elixirs on all my guitars; anything else rusts too quickly in Singapore.
The pickups have been professionally upgraded to GFS Power Rails (worth another $100+USD) and sound awesome. Screaming harmonics and crunchy rhythm. The pots are smooth; this is a well maintained baby!
This comes with the original hard-shell case so you can safely take it on airplanes with you. It's just about impossible to find a hard case for this model nowadays; they go at over $100USD if you can even find one.
So to recap, this is what you get:
A Steinberger GU-7R in a rare deep blue
GFS Power Rails Pickups installed worth $100 before labor costs
Original Hard Shell Case worth $100+
String adaptor worth $40USD
Whammy Bar
Couple sets of extra double-ball strings
Price? The guitar un-upgraded without the case, pickups, or accessories was last sold on eBay for $550USD! Also note that that wasn't even a true blue guitar; its turquoise, which doesn't have the same classy look as the real deep blue ones do. Add in all the accessories and this package *should* be well above $800USD ($1036SGD).. Before even considering how rare it is for such a guitar to even show up in Singapore!
Thus my starting price stands at a fair $850 SGD
Feel free to contact me via PM if you want to arrange a test drive at my place.
Reply for more pics, demo videos, recordings (I take song requests..within reason; no Taylor Swift. NO.)
