RALLY GL-300? n an amp arnd 100-150 dollars for training purpose?

hey guys, i am more or less decided on getting the 360 transparent blue rally GL-300 guitar but i decide if i could find out more abt this guitar, as in stuff like reviews from guys like u then it wud be much greater!. so i was wondering if any of u all hav used this guitar before and any plus/minus abt this guitar? coz i couldnt just trust eveyrhting the guy at SV guitar has told me lol...

also i planned on getting a small amp so tat i could practise the guitar in my small hostel room in ntu hall, any suggestion? thank u for all the help and assistance tat u could provide! =)
 
hmm i have the gl400, but i'm guessing they're mostly the same anyway... absolutely love this guitar, the tone and feel is pretty good. the only problem i have is with the machine heads, gets detuned quite easily, so probably should swap em out... not sure about other units though...

so i say go ahead and get this guitar, if you're looking for an LP-copy, doesn't get much better than this for its price!
 
getting a small practice amp should be ok if you just want 'sound' to come out. small practice amps usually lack some umph and sound harsher compared to the bigger ones. the guitar on the other hand should be a pretty solid one considering the reviews around.

then again, there are also costly American guitars which are equipped with tuners that don't hold tuning well. in fact, that guitar looks very much like the Rally GL series...

thx for ur advices guys, wat abt amp? any particular amp brand tats gd? i heard laney is gd but i couldnt find it at sweelee, sv, davies guitar when i went there last week... i mean those small training amp
 
i think the sweelee guy dun like me LOL maybe coz i was bringing my fren go test their bongo and everything LOL, do they sell the small training amp for the CUB series?

If you have a rather low budget, I bought a Laney LG20 from there last year around $100, it does it's job lah. Not THAT fantastic :P
 
but i go online it seems tat they no longer provide LG20zzz =( the cheapest i think is LX12 which cost 120... 10 w combo
