this is what i saw in guitar pro. so how do i play this? meaning do i only play the A and G string? and how do i play this part with a pick?

Mute the rest of the strings, index finger on 8, pinky on 10, rest of the fingers to mute.

To mute the strings gently touch it so it would not ring out =)
