I am currently in consideration of installing 1 or 2 mini-switches onto my guitar to allow for additional choices of tone from my electric guitar, and my questions are:
1) My guitar is a H-S-H electric guitar with double-locking tremolo which uses a 5-way switch. Is it possible to allow for the following switching options to be available from the installation of DPDT mini-switches without alteration to the current switching option available?
Mini-switch 1: Switches neck pickup between series humbucking and parallel humbucking
Mini-switch 2: Bridge pickup and neck pickup in parallel regardless of Mini-switch 1's position
Currently, the switching options on the 5-way switch is:
Position 1: Bridge, Series-Humbucking
Position 2: Bridge, Split-coil + Middle Pickup
Position 3: Middle Pickup
Position 4: Neck, Split-coil + Middle Pickup
Position 5: Neck, Series-Humbucking
2) Is Maestro able to provide mini-switches for the above mod?
3) If the above is do-able, how much will the cost come up to?
Aside from that, I would like to also change the capacitors in the guitar (if I remember correctly, they are ceramics) to something else. What capacitor do you recommend and how much will that come up to?
