i would like to change my first bass's pickups to the seymour duncan quarter pounder p j set.anyone knows how it sounds or is it worth the change.

that's my MIM precision with quarter pounder P-pups and an MXR 6-band EQ with boosed mids..

to my experience, they're loud, ballsy.. but more like a one trick pony that blasts out rock pretty well.

yeap =) that's kinda my point, it cuts through the mix even though its sft (live recording, bass freq. don't get recorded very well.)

but like i said, i think its more a one-trick pony..
