subversion Moderator Dec 29, 2007 #2 the measurement you quoted refers to the scale length, not fretboard length. this has nothing to do with fret dimensions.

Benster New member Dec 29, 2007 #3 the spacing between the higher frets would be slightly smaller on a custom 24. as the neck pickup is positioned further down nearer to the bridge, a custom 24's neck pickup sound is thinner and brighter than a 22 fretter's.
