Hey everyone, I would appreciate it if anyone could help with this problem.
The hole in which the trem bar is supposed to go in is really loose, like if i put the bar in it will drop out.
If i tighten the hole with the allen key at the back of the bridge..it will tighten but only for a really short while.
I went to various guitar shops, one told me that this is a standard problem with Edge III tremolos and before every performance or gig i will have to put the bar in and tighten the hole extremely, stretch the springs at the back bla bla bla fking complicated shit.
Another told me that the component for tightening the bar has worn out, but they do not have stock or know how to repair this issue.

Can anyone tell me a shop or anyone to repair this..or anyone with stock of the worn out component.

Im sorry im not using standard names to refer to these components as ..I do not know them wtf lol..

Ok please help guys i really wanna do whammy bar phrasing im tired of depressing the bridge only ..

thanks =)

I dunno if it would work but... try wrapping some black tape around the tremolo bar before putting it into your guitar?

This is what I will suggest. Not exactly a fix but an upgrade. Go get yourself a Gotoh Floyd Rose, and install it. Best if you can change the studs that comes with it. It has locking studs. Gotoh is way better, smoother, stable and made in Japan to boot. Edge III is just crap unfortunately. Anyway, you can get one from Davis and it should be a direct drop in if you choose not to change the studs.
