Hi all,
I am offering private electric/acoustic guitar lessons. I have been playing the guitar for about 8 years and have been teaching for about 3 years. I used to teach in Celviano School of Rock but now I'm only doing private one-to-one lesson. I have taught about 40+ students, 90% of them have successfully learnt how to play very well (some of them are as young as 10 years old).
Besides teaching, I am also playing in a local rock band which have performed in various big events and locations such as Singapore Indoor Stadium, D'Marquee and Esplanade Waterfront etc, and played alongside with a few international artists.
My style of playing would be any form of rock, however, I have no problems in teaching blues, funk and pop. My main influences are Richie Sambora, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, Neil Zaza, John Petrucci and B.B King.
With regards to how I teach the lessons, I am unable to provide a lesson plan for anyone as I would have to learn a lot more about the student's playing, musical styles, speed of learning and knowledge of theory before I truly determine the best way to teach that individual student.
Rates
Introductory Lesson: S$40/hr
Lesson Package: S$150/mth for 4 lessons, 1 hr lesson each. (However, if you are unable to afford the monthly rates, you can always take lessons on a bi-weekly basis instead of taking weekly lessons)
After the first Introductory lesson, if you like my learning style and wish to continue, you can opt for the lesson package (weekly or bi-weekly).
Other Information
As I am staying in the West area, if you're staying in the East area, additional charges would be applicable due to transport fees.
