I have been searching for power supply around!!there is one belcat cat power supply that is good.but currently no stock..how guys?is there any other power supply that is not that ex and gd for my pedaltrain.....

cheap? t-rex fuel tank junior. thanks to davis's amazing prices for t-rex pedals. isolated power supply. cant go wrong. best bang for buck for isolated power supply if ur pedalboard is mainly occupied by 9v pedals.

forget abt belcat, artec, mxr dc bricks. they are just better looking one spots. non isolated power supplies. share the same common ground. u pay money for the wrong reasons.

if u really are bothered by hum and the accidental frying of pedals, get the t-rex fuel tank jnr. if not, one spot is still the way to go.

+1 to dudelove.

Make sure you are getting an isolated power supply....if not just buy a one spot la.

but how many pedal can it supply?the reason why i wan belcat i cause it can power like 10 pedals...i will most probably have 9 to 10 pedals...yea...thanks dudelove!!

what & how much should i spend if just want to power up a zoom g1?
those zoom ones? or godlyke? or 1spot? or any made in china ac adapters?

I've been powering 15 effects with a 1Spot for a year. The 1Spot can easily handle 3x that. I measured.

a fuel tank jnr has 5 outputs. it doesnt matter if the fuel tank has 5 and the belcat has 10. it doesnt matter. because the one output from the fuel tank jnr gives 120mA of power. that is enough power to power up like. erm.. 5-6 or even more drives. drive pedals take up like, what? 6mA? that region.

all u need to do is daisy chain em up. modulations can take one solitary output since they require more power. i'm powering 9 pedals with my fuel tank jnr and i know someone who powers 14 pedals with a fuel tank jnr. no problem.

if u think 120 is too much. just stick with the one spot. delivers a whopping 1700mA. that can probably power up like 30+ pedals.

Yup, all that info can be found on a video lesson on their website. I watched that video after reading this thread. :)

TS: yay fuel tank here i come!

Davis: Sorry, please put your name down on the list. We cannot guarantee you'll get your power supply anytime soon

anyone tried the biyang pedal power?

looks great and its relatively cheaper but too bad it cant fit under a pedal train... or can it?

its a little more expensive but the soundwaves guys are great to deal with! Got my pedaltrain from them but no free delievery that time though....:(

so is there a advantage/disavantage thing between a one spot and a fuel tank? electrically i'm not sure about the power integrity of a onespot, and if i'm not wrong onespot is not isolated thus it can add hum to your pedals?

besides costing like 20-30 bucks vs 120-150....

yes, what are the disadvantages/advantages of onespot/any of the cheaper adaptors?

i saw one post saying accidental frying of the pedal, is that true???

now i'm worried

my 1 spot just died on me after 18 months. All shops are out of stock at the moment as there is a new version of the 1 spot in the next shipment.

What other alternatives are there if i want a small and powerful power supply?

the advantages and disadvantages of the onespot and other power supplies have been discussed to death here already. Just run a search.

Or google the word "stinkfoot'. His site really has a very comprehensive list of descriptive breakdowns of the advantages and disadvantages offered by the various kinds of power supplies offered.
