We're a 5 piece band playing for almost 2 years now.. guitarist enlisted 4-5 months ago and is unable to commit regularly and asked to leave... we're a posthardcore band but not restricted to playing that. did quite alot of covers ranging from mainstream to metalcore. band influences includes funeral for a friend, saosin, august burns red. underoath, silverstein, paramore, taking back sunday, jame's elsewhere, blessthefall, incubus, ratm, etc.
We're looking for someone who is able to commit regularly, at least once a week jamming. Somebody who is open to doing covers, open to cross genres and mix and match, and ultimate able to compose something unique that everybody in the band enjoys. If you're looking for a band to be the next "insert-famous-band-name-here" then don't bother to apply... we prefer somebody who has his own style and preferences and let it add into the band.
Band members are aged 20-21, mix of chinese and malay males, and we're from different backgrounds (some studying, some ns etc.) We have no preference on age, gender, race, culture, sexuality, hairstyle whatsoever.
There is also not a fixed leads or rhythm role, current guitarist prefers it to be whichever both of you feel like doing for that song, and its a give and take situation most of the time.
Vocals sing and does screamo as well. We also have a couple of originals but we're open to whoever is joining to change them to suit his style and such...
This is a low quality demo of one of our originals. One is a self recording at home while the other is a live recording in a jamming studio using a hp..
