podXT live playing on computer speakers

Hi Guys,

I'm back in the states for a few days/weeks, and may be buying a effect processor back to Singapore... Haven't totally decided between Pod XT Live and Boss GS-10 yet.. Any new comments????

Also, want to know one thing about the XT Live... Can I connect it to my laptop using USB connection, and play through my laptop inbuilt speaker?? Or I need to run it out on an amp to get the sound??

You can definitly plug into your computer. here's how i normally hook up:

USB from XT live to PC
RCA quarter inch to 1/8 inch cable, from XT live to the microphone in of your PC.
set your XT live's playing mode to " Studio Direct"..and that's it..
