Plugs: Angled or Straight?

What kind of plugs do you all prefer; angled or straight? From the guitar, to the pedal, from the pedal and to the amp.. what kind of plugs do you prefer? And do any of you run your cable through your guitar strap, and what is the use of that?

Also, any of you here make your own guitar cable? I'm going to make my own :D

Straight, angled for pedals. The running through of cables through the strap is a way of preventaction premature jackulation, which for eg stepping on your cable and ripping the plug out. It's embarressing stuff when that happens.

If i were loaded i'd choose to go wireless. Neat and hassle free.

Luther selling the wireless transmitter. You think worth it?

Anyone owns that?
Or any other transmitter thats worth buying...?

Ohh.....

About the wireless... I'm *not* loaded.

i use angled cables for my pedals and straight or angled depending on my guitar. if the jack is on the front face of the guitar like in a strat or angled upwards at the side of the body like some Ibanez guitars i use a straight. if the jack is at a right angle on the side of the body like a Les Paul i use an angled jack. and i always loop my cable through my strap cause i hate it cables coming out when i'm moving around.

i just started using a wireless that one of my buddies lent me to try out. so far it seems ok...not too much tone coloring and it's nice to not be tied down by your cable, it doesn't tangle with your legs. the downside is that the cable seems to keep coming out of the jack so it ends up hanging from the battery pack (which is currently taped to the strap, which in turn affects the balance of the guitar). i will need to fix this. also, as with most wireless systems, there's a bit of tone coloring. it's not obvious enough to bother me much though, and the audience probably can't tell anyway.
