Kinda looking for a soundcard now. Budget around $400. I´m hoping for a soundcard that can access Logic Audio Platinum, Sonar and VST. I know these are different soundcard drivers, EASI, ASIO and WMA. So mine priority given to Sonar WMA and Cubase VST ASIO drivers.

I´m presently using Sonar.

Your ONLY choice with that budget is M-audio Audiophile2496 (from Sinamex)

Of course there´s also Echo Mia, but harder to find in S´pore I think.

I am using the Audiophile2496 with Sonar. Pro quality!

Echo Mia can be bought from Swizer in Singapore. The new MiaMidi has midi built-in. Heard reports of better performances with the Mia than Audiophile.

Couldn´t find the dmxfire in Singapore, the sites are all french.

Was eyeing on the Echo Mia awhile ago, wherez Swizer? M-audio seems good as well. Will certainly check it up. Would they have severe problems when i try using Logic? Bet wouldn´t have with Cubase VST plugins right?

Swizer is in Katong Shopping Centre, if it hasn´t moved since I last went there many years ago. Check out the Echo website for the email of Swizer (http://www.echoaudio.com/). Echo works well with most things. My Gina works well with my Logic and GigaStudio - no problems and low latency.

Hmmm.checked the site. Supports WDM,ASIO and GSIF. That means Cubase compatible. But doesn´t show EASI compatibility, which means not Logic compatible. Believe still can run Logic, but may have problems depending on computer setup. Gina looks interesting as well. 2in2out on Mia, possible 8inout on Gina. You´ll running 2 soundcards sync, Cheez? Sadly, they didn´t state the prices, else i´ll luv to get my hands on Gina.

I run only one soundcard - Gina. It is multi-client which means I can run multiple applications with it. You can email Swizer for the price. Mine is the older 20 bit version, not the Gina24.

How many inputs and outputs do you use simultaneously??

I think you may be able to get Delta 44 with a $400 budget.....and when you need a decent mic pre....you could add on a Omni I/O.......

I have a spare Delta 66 with Omni Studio to go..New and still in Box..Anybody intrested can give me a call on 97988360..It can be used on MAC and PC..
