Play On Singapore Rocks 2010!
Play-On is an annual rock band event, organised by the Bishan-Toa Payoh Youth Executive Committees, with the objective of providing a platform for youths to showcase their talents while sharing their music experience with other youths! This year, Play-On 2010 will be held, in conjuction with Singapore 2010, at the Toa Payoh Amphitheatre on the 21st of August (Saturday) from 6-10pm.
If you are a youth between 13 and 35 year old and are passionate about rock music, form a band now and participate in Play-On 2010 to showcase your talents! Performances can be either covers or originals to the theme "Friendship Amplified".
Registration fees for this event are as follows:
a. S$10 per band (if any one member is a passion card holder) or
b. S$18 per band
To register, please download the application form from www.play-on.sg from 27 June 2010 onwards and submit it to either of the following 2 community clubs:
a. Bishan CC
b. Toa Payoh Central CC
Together with a description of the band's performance and a short video, no longer than 10 minutes, of the band's performance.
Alternatively, you can contact info@play-on.sg at any time for more info first.
Please also note that registration closes on the 31st of July 2010.
