place to perform vocal??

well my company ask me to perform on D&D.. First i need to find a place to pratice my songs , stage presentation and many more.. wonder if there is a place allow me to do it?? any ideals?

At home?
You could practice on a soundcheck before the D&D starts if you want to plan your showmanship, but otherwise you can just see the stage and 'imagine' and 'practice' at home..

I usually practice my showmanship and stage presentation before I sleep It's called daydreaming.. lol


Unless you're talking about practicing with a band?
Then you need to go jamming studio lah..

Can also practice in the bathroom while having that shower....hehehe!!! Well bro...home is still the best place to practice if you're just onto singing with back-up music, karaoke, minus1, etc.

Yes, as highlighted by Kak Sage, unless you're singing with a band then you need to go to the studio.

one bad thing i forget to tell you guys.. my family never support me in music.. i sing abit they will shout at me SHUT UP!!
everytime i on competition or perform they never come even i ask them to come~~ sigh

Sweetie, I've been singing in my room for years regardless of the number of times my mum bangs on my door telling me not to piss the neighbours off..
And in my five years of performing, none of my family members attend my gigs. Except maybe.. once? I'm not even sure. Cousins in the music scene doesn't count..

My mum used to nag every single time I went jamming, to the point where I had to lie to her about it (she got so suspicious, she thought I was prostituting myself lol).

Yknow, you don't really need or care for support if you're passionate about your dreams and you know you love what you do.
If your family shout at you, sing louder lor. Can help practice your vocal volume.

Bro - Dan Music has a karaoke system too and U can sing using the PA system in the studio - norm its $18 per hour for full bands - solo singer using karaoke maybe can cheaper ... BYO cd, dvd, minus one disc ....

I used to have a neighbour living downstairs who likes to sing in the bathroom also.. and he sings damn loud lol.
Funny thing was at one occasion, I was singing along too (I think it was a Hooberstank song?) and I ended up harmonising with him.

He paused for a while and sang along with me in the chorus, with even more emotion LOL

Never knew who that bugger was, but it was fun hahaha..
