Im thinking of organizing EB guitar clinic for pinoys..planning to discuss wide range of topics from:
1. Guitar fretboard memorization
2. Scales and how to apply them
3. Left hand exercises from easy to challenging
4. Right hand exercises from boring to painful hahaha joke
5. Music theory applied to guitar
6. Improvisation - creating your own solos
7. Speed building
8. Essential lead guitar techniques
9. Music reading of standard notation
10. Ear training
and if you have any more topics you want to discuss.. pls suggest
the plan:
We will rent a studio for 3 hours.. guitar clinic for 2 hrs and jam for 1 hr to apply everything we discussed. Each attendee contribute 12 bucks to pay studio time and of course the clinician.. cheap price to pay for 2 hr lesson and 1 hr jam.. maximum number of person to attend maybe 10.. or depending on how many persons the studio can allow.. we will set the date maybe one public holiday afternoon, any suggestion is welcome at this stage.. if this is successful. we will do it again in other areas in Spore and invite other successful pinoy musicians here to conduct the clinic.. wait, I hope you guys understand that when we say clinic we don't mean doctors checking your physical conditions hahaha
