Pinch harmonic

I own a epiphone les paul ultra II, which is equipped with the alnico classic plus pickups in the bridge and the neck. I am using gauge .9 strings. My problem is: How come I am not able to do pinch harmonic on my les paul? I have a squier strat with gauge .8 strings, and i can do it easily. Is it the problem that the pickup's output is not high enough or are there other problems?

It's possible the pickup is not pickup a strong enough signal. Or maybe you just need to turn up your gain? Can you do it with none of the pickups or just the bridge?

Possible a problem with the pick-up. You might want to change ur pickups if nothing else works.

Remember to use bridge pickup and raise your gain and treble to the max.

technique is imperative..practice with your guitar unplugged, if you don't hear it clearly acoustically no matter of pickups, high gain or amps will help you. LP's have a different scale length than strats and different placement of the harmonic nodes..move around. ive yet to encounter a guitar that i couldn't squeal on, unless it has completly dead rusted strings. left hand vibrato helps as well..dont choke the note
