Piezo problems

Ok guys, I have a problem with piezo here. I have a RG620X, and there's already piezo installed in it. I haven't really been using the piezo for a long time so when I flicked the switch to piezo pickups, only the first 3 strings are able to produce sounds while the bottom 3 strings have no signal at all.

I swapped the battery. Still the same, so it can't be a battery problem. Tried google, can't find much info. Anybody knows what's wrong with it? And how can I fix it?

I've had no experience with fixing piezo pickups before so any help would be great! Thanks!

Cheers,
Eugene

hey bro...

open the piezo saddle ... there r (+) wire output on each saddle & (-) Wire
check the cable connection... is it connect properly? check it using multimeter ... and... check it on your circuit board.. is the cable from piezo connected properly or not

usually the (-) wire is connected on the bottom side of the piezo crystal transducer.. and (+) wire connected on the top of the piezo crystal transducer ...and above the (+) and the crystal is the saddle it self

if u dont want to take the risk.. bring it to a qualified guitar tech

Hmm, isn't it very fragile then?

Ok, just checked. The wires on the bottom 3 strings are disconnected. Looks like the problem lies here. I think I'll bring this to a tech then, won't wanna take the risk. Looks fragile to me! Thanks for the help bro!
