It's better to get a pro to do it for you, if you do not have 1) the experience in guitar wiring, 2) the soldering skills.

Such jobs goes for as cheap as $20 and will save you trouble if you bungle the job, maybe even your guitar if it's damaged during the process.

I can do so, at my studio workshop. Just charge the basic for a basic change.

would sonldering an emg 89 and 60 be a tricky job for a DIY job? cos my friend has sufficient soldering knowledge and the emg wiring diagrams are pretty comprehensive
