ok softies. i'm really newb at guitar techs and so on. to support my shredding last time , i depended on friends that recommended me stuffs to put on to guitars. ok recently i'm getting an Ibanez S470 and i heard about Tesla pickups. and i have to say they are great.

okay my questions are

for a S470 that has a ZR tremolo system, are the pickups F-SPACED?
if so how do i go about ordering a tesla pickup that is F-SPACED? and how to see if a pick up is a F-spaced one or a regular pickup for fixed bridges?
link for tesla plasma 3

ok i've decided to get a plasma 3 for the bridge, plasma 1 for the single coil and a plasma 2 for the neck. is this a good config or the plasma 3 should be both neck and bridge?

sorry for my noobie questions

A "F-spaced" humbucker is "Fender" spacing. The bridge spacing directly co-relates to the pole spacing on the pickups. You only need the "F-spaced" or the Trembucker as in Seymour Duncan's term in the bridge position and a standard one at the neck.

To check if the Tesla pickups is "F-spaced", just give Mike a call at 63686586 or simply email him at info@standardvalue.com.sg Just let him know the genre of your music and he will recommend you the suitable pickups.

After looking at the specification drawing, I think the Tesla III bridge is F-spaced (Mike, correct me if I'm wrong). The bridge poles are 52mm compared to the neck pickup, which is 50mm.

or you can ask mike if there are F-spaced versions of the regular TESLA models.

yes, the ZR bridge requires an F-spaced humbucker in the bridge. i got my TESLA VR Extreme from mike for my S1620, i made sure i got the F-spaced version for the bridge:

wow. nice guitar u got there sub. anyway. ok so for the Bridge pick up needs A F-SPACED tesla. then the neck pickup is able to use the normal one? or still needs a F-Spaced pickup?

digging up a thread from a year back. I have an Ibanez SA260FM(click to see pic) and it has a SAT PRO II Bridge. It is trem, but not considered floyd rose. so im thinking of changing pickups and i bought the standard SH-4, SD JBs.

Question is: will it fit nicely? cos if it doesn't, i wanna sell it away to get a trembucker, rather than installing it and removing it. i think it will fetch a lower price and a waste of my money too.
