Pickup Problems

Hello there,

I've got a humbucker in my geetar thats amplifying the vibrations coming from the tremolo springs. However this is only evident when i use my bridge pickup and nothing wrong when using neck pickup.

I have tried to ground it many times but to no avail(same problem occurs) . The pickup also tend to squeal alot when my hands are off the strings. I'm thinking the pickups needs to be waxed? (But the pickup is a seymour ducan designed one, im sure they have already done that!)

This problem is rather irritating as i can't really get silence when i need to (eg playing master of puppets intro) BTW when i put my guitar volume knob to 0, and pickup selector at bridge / Neck , there is still sound being amplified through the amp when I strum the strings!!( quite soft)

Anyone got any suggestions to fix this or something??!!

Thanks alot!
Cheers

maybe its the problem with the pickup? too high output?

either that or its your amp. I mean, how come it can amplify a guitar that has a vol knob set at 0?

bro how high is the pickup height?i believe the noise that you mention is feedback.
could be ur gain set too high ...and when the amp is crank and you standing near it ..it bound to happen.
hows the grounding on the back(the trem claw)? is it disconnected?

The grounding at the tremolo there is intact, the squeal is not feedback im pretty sure. Only get it sometimes, but the thing bothering me is the volume thingy and the tremolo vibration being amplified. Could it be a problem where I've installed a wrong Pot?
