Good to be back. The Music Man necks really are something and that signature clarity in the sound.

looks familiar... I know someone who has that... or well, maybe its now a "had" that.

How are you finding the extra pickups? I understand the extra sounds are pretty useful, judging from comments and stuff... Do you feel any difference in the sustain and stuff due to the extra pups?

The guitar that i can probably compare it to is really a telecaster. It sounds unbelieveable cause of the super strat status and floyd rose. But, having owned a tele, many many strats and two les paul types, this guitar resembles a tele in terms of its character. Very punchy and articulate with a slight twang.

When played through high gain they are very unique sounding, they don't sound like your normal humbuckers at all, they resemble noise cancelling tele single coils. Almost like the ones on my Tom Anderson.

All the extra pickups do sound good and they all sound different. Not just tricks with a half past six sound. The guitar is definitely heavy cause of the all the extra pickups and also the floyd rose. Don't notice any increase in the sustain due to the extra pickups

Thanks man. 11 pickup config man...too many. But i can see how it can be really helpful in a setting where i need to play tons of different songs. Some of it does help with speedy switching, although the morse is wired quite weirdly, takes getting used to.

I had a good amount of time to try the LE Buttercream, damn it was really really good. The tortise shell pickguard it came with was a bit too striking for my taste.

Abit of topic, Ripper, how are the mesa boogie negotiations..... you would be the local hero if you did become the dealer. I will place your picture as my handphone wall paper...

I liked the Buttercream one... Thought that was a nice colour. Sounded good too! But really got confused with the switches...

I was merely talking cock on the mesa dealership thing lah, brudder. Dont have such a big capital lah. You see, there's a Mesa express on sale at the sales thread. Anyone buying? I don think so.

Even if they grant me free, I also don want. Things come all the way here, suddenly break down how? Not as if I got very good technical support..
