DjThugs started the people who we should be wary of on SOFT thread, so I thought I should do the opposite, after all there ARE good people here aye?
DjThugs don't feel offended! I'm totally for your thread, but abit of Yang to the Yin is good as well!
My story:
To the malay guy riding on the motor cycle, who dealt with me a Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster, here's to you, I'm deeply sorry I forgot your name.
About 6 months ago, I settled a deal with this man for a Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster pedal. Though I forgot how much was it, the price was reasonable and he was willing to come to my place to deal with me.
However upon dealing, I realised that the sole knob on the pedal was loose (could be turned endlessly clockwise/anti-clockwise) and contacted him immediately. He apologised, saying that he was merely the middle-man and that he would try to work something out with the original owner, who didn't realise the problem was that grave.
A day later, he informed me that he was willing to refund me a full $10 for the damages should I decide to keep the pedal (which I did) or undo the entire deal someday. However at that point in time, I had not set up my bank account yet, hence could not get the refund and told him to hold on till I set one up.
About 3 weeks later, I eventually went to POSB and opened an account which had the $10 credited to me within days of me informing him.
Kudos to such an honest and sincere man. Cheers!
