Actually have you tried just running the pedal on 9V? I vaguely recall trying the pedal at someone's house and he couldn't find the original adapter so we just stuck a 9V adapter on it. It worked I remember.

yea i've tried running on 9v and i got some awesome humming lol. it does work but sounds slightly weaker.
