pedal order for my efx...

Hi folks,

I'm wondering what's the standard order for my efx... Thing is I have many dirty pedals and I'm not sure what is the standard pedal order to get sounds for my punk rock/sonic youth/grunge style... For e.g., I have the Sansamp Classic which is great on its own but once I add in like my MIJ DS-1 it sounds flat...

anyway here are the pedals I own, hope you guys can help me with the pedal order:

Sansamp Classic
Boss Distortion DS-1 (MIJ)
Boss Super Distortion & Feedbacker DF-2 (MIJ)
Devi Ever/Effector13 Soda Meiser
EHX Russian Big Muff
Digitech Grunge
Boss OC-3
Boss BF-2 (MIJ)
Ibanez DE7 Delay/Echo
EHX Frequency Analyzer Ring Modulator
Mini-Kaos pad (hardly use this cos too low levels output sigh)

If it helps, I also have a Blue Ark A/B Box (selects between two out or inputs) & a Looper (Guitar In, Guitar-Out, Send & Return inputs with footswitch)

Looking forward to discussing 1) the pedal order 2) what pedals to use as boost/overdrive/distortion/fuzz? 3) and the pedal settings too...

Thanks in advance!!!!

lol @ soda meister (good taste)

Guitar > Blue Ark A/B Box

Blue Ark A > Digitech Grunge > Soda Meister > Sansamp Classic > Boss BF-2 > Boss OC-3 > EHX Frequency Analyzer > Ibanez DE7 > Amp Input 1 (Amp 1)

Blue Ark B > Korg Mini Kaos Pad > Boss DS-1 > EHX Big Muff > Boss DF-2 > Amp Input 2 (Amp 2)

As for the looper, use it according to the song requirements. If the next song you need to switch on octave and flanger together, you should link these two pedals in the send > return of the looper. Leave both octave and flanger activated, and control them both using the looper itself. Saves time and trouble instead of ramming 2 footswitches on stage.

However, if I were you... I would have sold/given away somee of the distortion pedals that you have... its just over kill... maybe you haven't found your sound yet thats why...

Still, try to mix and match and try out all the different possiblities of your effects... anyway... you forgot to GAS for a wah pedal... :D
