MY distortion set up is now a zvex box of rock and a keeley modded ts-9 od. the distortion is still quite light i was thinking of adding a od... any comments? new distortion or od?

money is not a problem

Doesn't the Box Of Rock have quite a high distortion already?
If you need more gain, then go for a metal pedal. Modtone's Heavy Metal is a good choice

if money is not a problem, get an Engl amp or something.

Personalyl i feel that amps drive is also better/ fuller sounding to me. If i'm describing it properly?
Hehe go buy and sample the new boss stack pedal ? Since money isnt a problem. Then REVIEWS!

Yeah, would love to hear a review of the stack pedal from someone here. Or you could get a Diezel, I bet the distortion from taht would surpass all your expectations. :)

why do you need a pedal to sound liek that amp when you have pedals that can do distortion MUCH BETTER than those amps.
i mean, nobody will model their pedals after ibanez amps.
at least i haven't seen one...

Get a better amp. That's your limitation. No point getting the most aggressive distortion in the world and running it through a puny, low wattage, solid state amp.

I've not come across a pedal that can be better than that amp, and i've not come across a solid state amp that is better than that amp either.

Search up majikboxusa.com . There's a pedal that's modelled after Doug aldrich of whitesnake. Massive gain. Also I am currently using a shark effect warzy drive bought from guitar 77 at peninsula. Sounds decent too.
