Peavey Envoy

Need help! I just got a Peavey Envoy 110, and cant seem to get any distortion even when i crank the pregain. Anyone have any info on how i should set it or whats the problem?
When i set it to lead, there is a constant hissing even if i put my hands on the strings too :\

had this amp for a good 1 year til i got ripped off selling it.
Anyway , the drive should kick in with the flick of the "lead/clean" switch. Don't forget to turn up the post gain too

I got everything turned up, i put the post gain near 0-1 because it gets kinda loud past that. But sometimes i just get this fuzzy sound and 0 distortion .
Do you know any websites with good settings too? First time using amps with low/mid/high are they the same as bass/contour/treble? thanks

1st things 1st - to get the amp working and sounding. I don't really get the problem , so sometimes there is sound projected with the post gain from 0 -1 and sometimes there is none at all?
