I just received this msg in my band myspace. I must say this concept is rather full of chock' of goodness BOLLOCKS.

The whole concept of 'we give u 20 tickets u sell at 9 friggin' dollars each then u can play' is utter rubbish.

Some people are total dicks when it comes to local music and local scene. And these, are no different.

SingaLive Events presents SingaROAR I.

It will be a 1 day event. The location would be at Arthouse Playden, date is yet to be confirmed, in April.

We would assure a quality gig with top equipments and good sound system.

For us to run this gig smoothly, please spare a thought for us and other bands too. We hope for your full coorperation on the following:

-Bands have to sell 20 tix @ $9 each. We strongly advise bands not to use their own money to play.
-Please do not be late for your slot.
-Please firmly stick to 30 minutes performance time including set-up.
-Please stay for the entire gig as long as you can and support the rest of the bands. Other bands need your support too.

We would inform you guys through SMS about any updates regarding this gig.

yo DD bro chills man hahaha there are manymany bands who would still do such gigs 'cause somehow they find it easier and more palatable then gettin together to do their own shows. yes if u are somehow able to sell 20 tickets to ppl u noe u really got a lotta fans n frens hahaha

really hire Beat Merchants for 2 hrs invite all yr frens in for free and you spend less than those 20x9 tickets maaaan. and u can have yr own whacky party

Haha, They will pay to watch you like for the first few times. After that, they start saying they have urgent meeting or something to avoid it. And they try to make you feel better by saying they will try their best to come.
