output jack problems

Anyone know how to tighten a Strat's output jack(recessed)? I heard you can do it with long nose pliers but i dont have that at home.

Unscrew the Jack plate (?) and tighten/position the jack from inside.

Is that possible? its the jack thats loose not the plate. if i remember correct i need to tighten the bolt... but being unable to hold it tight i have no idea

You need to tighten the hex washer. It will help to hold the jack then turn the hex washer tight, then give the jack a firm (not too hard) turn to tighten it.
