Hi fellow softies,
I am a self-taught producer hoping to share my music here to get some feedback and perhaps also tips on improvement from the senior members here.
This song is part of a series of attempts to remix mandopop songs in unconventional arrangements. The original is the Chinese ballad 失落沙洲 by Lala Hsu, which has a fairly standard mandopop ballad arrangement and suggests a straightforward sense of sadness. I have tried to re-arrange it to create a lighter feel overall -- perhaps a mood that suggests distant, bittersweet memories instead.
