Orange Amp - what u guys think of it??

I wld like to own them... They sound great from the clips i heard, and look cool too. But u noe wat they always say abt clips...

If im not wrong, its sounds like a harsher marshall...

If I'm not wrong, a lot of 60s British bands use them. Also saw pics of them in Japanese band GLAY's CD cover, so I suppose they were using the orange amps. It does look good and I have actually thought of getting one but I don't know where they sell it here...

there was a thread on this not long ago.

as much as i would love to own them, Orange amps arent available in singapore.

but speaking like a fan boy should...i would love to try one cos stone in mayday uses orange amps.

Orange amps are at the boutique price range kind of amps. A 30watter combo with reverb will set you back S$3000.

While a 50watt head + 4X12 cab should be at the range of S$5500. These price could even be higher if there is a dealer selling from a showroom.

The market here is too small to support a dealer to bring in these stuff.

Sound wise subjective, it got it's own distinctive voicing. Of course it will sound good at that price, but question is what kind of good.

There is the cheapo solid state range call the orange crush, which are basically spin-offs from the famous range. Buts still caters to low end market anyway.

u got to wait while its buffering and u got to set the default player to windows media player. It works i just tried it.Oh and u have to chose a amp type before and click on the pic.

i love orange amps :D it's amp #2 in my dream setup (which has 3 amps, the other 2 being the Fender Hotrod Deville 410 and the VHT Pitbull 50)
